How do you describe your Gallery?:
Our shop is open all year round Thursday, Friday and Saturday, by appointment and online.
We have work from established and emerging makers living and making in Ross-on-Wye and The Forest of Dean. We show a range of work from handwoven and printed textiles, ceramics and slipware pottery, Jewellery and Handcut Paper Art, Felting and Beeswax Candles and Soaps.
Do you specialise in any particular artform or craft?:
18 The Basement is run by Weaver Gaby, we specialise in Handwoven fabric products for the home, which include a range of handmade and recovered footstools, furniture pieces, Lampshades and Cushions. You can also talk to us about bespoke handwoven fabric.
What's important to you when you choose whose work to exhibit and sell?:
Working with local makers, all of the makers live and work within 25 miles of our shop.
