Victoria is well known for creating large-scale architectural sculptures and murals using vitreous, stained glass and ceramic tesserae. Her work has been integrated into stunning garden architecture found in both residential and public settings nationwide.
Victoria's earliest memories were collecting sea-worn treasures from the untamed beaches of Northumberland where she grew up. Experimenting and creating 3D objects from the shells, pebbles curious flotsam and intriguing jetsam. 'Being an artist is a way of life. My art and love of nature are always evolving, challenging me to look for form and image that is novel, beautiful and timeless'.
Victoria Harrison is a sculptor and mosaic artist who runs her own business 'Living Mosaics' based in Malvern, Worcestershire.
Victoria works with schools, mental health institutions and local communities teaching and inspiring others through my mosaic workshops and courses. She also holds workshops from her studio in Malvern.
Victoria grew up in the north east of England where she gained a BA(Hons) Fine Art Degree, specialising in Environmental Sculpture. Whilst a student she continued to find herself drawn to the vitality and versatility of the 'world of mosaic'
