I'm inspired by the colours, textures and structures of the everyday world around us. Corrugated barns, utility covers, and animal bones found on field walks are among the themes that recur in my work, whether it's sculputure, photography or functional ceramics.
It means re-interpreting ordinary objects and settings and making them extraordinary.
I'm an artist who works mainly in clay, withe forays into photography and printmaking.
I practice from my studio in Kington and participate in local arts events when possible.
