How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

My Celtic background consistently informs my work . During the past year , underpinning themes have been : Fortune , hope, talismans, spirit beasts and the folklore that surrounds them .

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

Being a Fine Artist to me equates to complete freedom of thought and complete freedom to produce work in any medium and genre

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

By qualification I am a “Fine Artist “ . My disciplines include : Painting / printmaking / sculpture / and printed textiles

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

I work from my studio within my home on the Welsh / Herefordshire borders. During my time spent at Margaret St in Birmingham I was fortunate to have had tuition under practicing artists ,
David Prentice , Helen Chadwick and ( visiting lecturer) Bruce McLean .
