How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I make slab built, Raku fired ceramics. My designs are inspired by an ancient woodland, Jones's Hill Wood, where I lived as an environmental activist, protesting against the destruction of HS2.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Being an artist is so important for my mental health, as an outlet for my creative mind. It is also a way of communicating the beauty and vulnerability of nature.
