Rozie Keogh

How would you describe the work you do and why?:

Artist & Jeweller

Precious metal jewellery using pearls, gemstones and other materials if appropriate to the design.

Base metal wire sculptures, usually figurative.

Both my jewellery and larger pieces are inspired by fairy tales and poetry and informed by my knowledge and interest in textile decoration i.e. embroidery. I also use natural forms as inspiration. I originally trained as an illustrator and feel that I am still illustrating in 3D.
