I generally work with mixed media which has included the use of base metals such as copper and vitreous enamels. Some items are wearables and others are objects. I am also including photo, graphic imagery and textural qualities into the work. Coming from a silversmithing background new avenues have taken me more to the unknown than the mapped out.
For me being an artist means having conversations with myself and an audience with feedback from both.
I work in my own studio and am currently collaborating with other creatives, ie a poet and a psychotherapist maker on a number of projects. I teach silversmithing part-time at Hereford College of Art.
