I combine my love of painting with my love of the natural world.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

I paint to express myself and to share my feelings with others.

I am a Painter.

These days, I paint for my own enjoyment and I paint commissions .

CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice: 

I have had little formal training.

I was encouraged by my Teachers at the old Staunton-on- Wye junior School and later by the Teachers at the Lady Hawkins Grammar School in Kington. My greatest influence is John Constable. I have studied his paintings and visited their locations.I also visited as many exhibitions as I could when I was younger . I have met and chatted with David Shepherd, David Burrows, Edgar Frith and Augustus John.
