How would you describe the work you do and why?:

Professionally I have taught and gardened, made prints and felted. Whilst pursuing the Master's course I re-discovered the joy of clay. I love the challenge of throwing using different clays but most of all I enjoy mark making and playing with slips and glazes both in electric and gas kilns.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Freedom, joy in sharing skills, the excuse to observe, emulate and transcribe feelings into functional objects.
