How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

The majority of my work is private and public commissions, while also continuing my artistic practice when possible.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

For me being an artist is a way of life, it is both a way of expressing myself and also allows me to support myself and my family.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

I am a stonecarver, I specialise in the lettering arts; hand drawing and carving lettering in stone and wood. I also work in architectural carving and sculpture.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

I am a full time stone carver working from my studio/ workshop in Weobley. At present I have one apprentice and I am also currently extending my practice in to the field of Icon Painting and Carving.

CV & Education, relevant & leading to your artistic practice: 

I have a First Class degree in Fine Art and have training with numerous letter carvers and sculptors along the way.
