How would you describe the work you do and why?:
I am passionate about natural fibres and promoting its qualities whilst helping to reduce the consumption of man made plastics. I enjoy making functional items that people get to use time and time again.
Machine knitting becomes quite addictive when you can turn a design idea into a product in the same day.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
An artist will always make / create or design without thinking about it. They would do it regardless of the outcome because it is instinctual and they don't know any different!
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
I am a knitwear designer creating accessories from yarns made of natural fibres. New collections combine my own natural alpaca yarns with luxury industrial surplus yarns such as merino and cashmere.
