How would you describe the work you do and why?:

My painting is constantly developing as I search for the joy in my work. Although often based on a specific landscape, it may be a feeling or emotion I am trying to convey. I aim to show depth and balance using paint, collage, pencils and pastels, and I am often surprised and delighted with what shows up!

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Working in my studio is now a daily practice and it is my happy place. There is a need to create which becomes greater each day.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I am an abstract/ intuitive painter inspired by natural landscape.
