A Peaceful Corner

How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

I paint subjects that I see, interpret them, and paint them in traditional chinese style, reflecting my Chinese heritage and upbringing. I also illustrate my writings with my own paintings.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

To capture the Chi - internal energy - of the subject. To paint something which I like, and hope others will like too.

Classical Chinese writing and painting.

None in the last 3 years, as I have been writing and illustrating my books in that time. Previously I held solo exhibitions in private galleries in Paris and Milan.
