How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I would describe the work that I do as completely natural, using only natural materials. The reason for this is because we are known as 'the throw away generation' I strive to create sustainable, beautiful items that are not harmful to the environment.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

there are not many artists that can make a living from our art, I have quite a stressful career working in the community therefore I spend as much time in my studio as possible. I find working with what mother nature provides profoundly soothing. To make something natural, beautiful and original in the chaos that surrounds me extremely rewarding.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I call myself this because everything I use has to be 100% natural, from the fabric to the dyes used and the materials printed.
