How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

My husband and I make Porcelain homeware, especially for the table. Plates,bowls and drinking vessels are thrown or hand- built at our home studio. Tactile ceramics make meals more interesting. For us, food and pottery make a special combination. We all have a special mug!

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

Opportunity to lose ourselves and relax with the clay, creating pieces which will be used and loved

My husband was a dental surgeon prior to taking up pottery. I was a head teacher and maths teacher. Pottery began with Malvern Hills College, long term lessons with Fleen Doran, short courses with Patia Davis and Nigel Lambert.
