How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

I like to switch backwards and forwards from paint to print, re using old and recent images to produce new ideas.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

The ability to express oneself without words and the sheer enjoyment of mark making in many different forms.

Painter and Printmaker

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

I have taught Art in schools and further education establishments.
In recent years I have attended workshops in printmaking and attended life classes to update my skills. I also paint and sketch outdoors, alone and as part of The Herefordshire Painting Club outings.

3 ‘A ‘ levels in History of Art, Life drawing and a General Art ‘A’ level including sculpture and Oil painting.
B. Ed in Fine Art.
