How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

I draw and burn quirky creatures onto functional wooden objects in order to celebrate the weird beauty of the natural world.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

I like trying to capture the strange and striking beauty of natural creatures and exploring how different kinds of wood respond to burning.
