Details

How would you describe the work you do and why?:

My main medium is watercolour, sometimes with the addition of inks, salt, wax, pastels and textured backgrounds. These can take longer to complete, building up layers for effect. I focus on using bright, impactful colours with the aim of creating joyful, uplifting pieces. I try to work without any drawing to create more exciting , flowing art.

For you what does being an artist mean?:

From a young age I was involved in various creative projects and now I’m fulfilling an ambition , but still continually learning and experimenting. Hopefully I’m creating pieces that give pleasure to others.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I’m primarily a watercolour artist , but also enjoy using mixed media. My main inspiration is nature … landscape , flora and fauna.
