Details
The surrounding Herefordshire countryside, flora and fauna, is a constant source of inspiration for me, throughout the seasons.
I use mainly watercolours, but also inks, acrylics and various textures and mediums to create interesting surfaces. Vibrant use of colour is really important to me too.
I take immense pleasure in continually learning, challenging myself, sharing knowledge, working with and conversing with like-minded artists and believing that my work can give pleasure to others.
I am a watercolour artist who loves painting for the sheer pleasure of creating.
I aim to paint everyday, sometimes this might lead to a finished piece, sometimes not, but I am always learning!
I attended Malvern Hills College for several years, also attended courses run by Ann Blockley.
Recently I have been very much inspired by Jean Haines Online Art School which has influenced much of my recent work.
