Inspired in New Zealand sixteen years ago, whilst watching a sunset, to paint a series of 365 pictures titled 'Living with colour'
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Freedom and spontaneity to create the future and reflect on the past

Abstract landscape artist

I was brought up in Cornwall by an artist father, John Kingerlee, and was surrounded by art and artists. I have travelled extensively in Asia and South America, absorbing the colour and diversity of the art that I experienced.
