How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

I make pottery from stoneware and porcelain, and decorate with abstract patterns and crystal glazes. I oove throwing as there is an immediacy to having to get everything right at once, and getting somehting you can see straight away. I love these abstract patterns, as they are like clouds on a windy day or staring into a fire.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

Creating beautiful things, some of them useful as well.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?: 

Potter, making thrown table and decorative wares in Wales.

Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching: 

Throwing, finishing and glazing, firing.
Selling at fairs and galleries.
