How would you describe the work you do and why?: 

I take photographs of the local landscape, plants and animals. This is a calming exercise which helps my mental health. I have also written a book about this, publishing in July this year.

For you what does being an artist mean?: 

An opportunity to be creative and to highlight the beauty of nature and importance of the natural world.

Natural history photography and writing
