How would you describe the work you do and why?:
I make appliqued cushions using uphostery materials often with a design based on nature. Usually flowers but sometimes commissions can involve beloved animals and birds. I also make small felt items such as brooches and necklaces. I have recently been designing mobiles.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
Making and crafting is a way to express myself and to escape from the every day trials we all encounter
