How would you describe the work you do and why?:

I am exploring narrative themes common to all of us and attempting to express feeling through the language of visual art . I have worked in different media mostly three dimensional but recently decided to bring more colour and context to my work via printmaking. I like the various textures and the endless combinations that colour can lend to a composition , changing the mood and meaning. Every print in each edition is unique although pulled off the same plate and I often work on prints after the press with other media .

For you what does being an artist mean?:

Being an artist gives me the means to express my experience of the world and what it means to be human. It is my way of being and what keeps me sane.

Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:

I am an artist who works in various media, currently focusing on printmaking.
