How would you describe the work you do and why?:
I work in oils and place myself in the post impressionist/ conceptualist camp, art as an expression of feelings more than direct realism, and a recognition that ideas are as important as image.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
It means a chance to redress the balance. I paint with the eye and tastes of a woman.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
Observational painter.
